Starting out with this blog I wanted to write about some of my favorite things to do in Branson, and that includes some of my favorite places to eat. Billy Bob’s Dairyland is definitely on my top 5 favorite places to eat in Branson. It’s a local favorite and only seats about 40 people and that’s probably pushing it. It’s a hole in the wall burger joint, but it’s decorated like an old 50’s diner… It even has an old jukebox! There is seating at tables and booths around the restaurant but there are also about 6-7 spinning barstools like an old malt shop counter would have. They cook the food on a big grill thats out in the main dining area so everyone can see it 🙂 My kiddos love going to see the decor (the Big Betty Boop welcome statue is pretty fun too). They love to spin on the barstools up at the counter, although we don’t let them eat up there. The colors are vibrant and the place is pretty loud so if the kids are loud I don’t feel like everyone is staring at us with angry eyes. The hostess and waitresses are all super nice and friendly. Now, Billy Bob’s is always busy so plan on a nice wait unless you go super early or super late around meal times, this is especially true during the typical Branson season when things start to pick up. The word has spread on how good this place is and the tourist are picking up on it. We like to go for dinner around 4 or 4:30 so we can get a seat easily.

-CHICKEN SANDWICH/ CHICKEN TENDERS
-FRENCH FRIES/ ONION RINGS
-SHAKES/ MALTS/ ICE CREAM CONES
AND MUCH, MUCH MORE!!!

The only disappointing thing about eating at Billy Bob’s is that they don’t offer kids meals… They don’t offer smaller portions either. So for our boys we have them share a corn dog or chicken tenders and get a side of fries and waters. The price ranges from $5-$10 per person and that’s without dessert.

The food and the atmosphere are so fun and vibrant that it’s worth the price you pay for a burger and fries. I have to hit this place up a couple times a year. It’s so good I’ll even wait a few minutes to get it 🙂 Now that is saying somethin’.
